England Will Face Spain in the Euro 2024 Final After a Dramatic 2-1 Victory

England have reached the final of Euro 2024 after a dramatic 2-1 victory over the Netherlands in Dortmund on Friday. Ollie Watkins scored a brilliant last-gasp winner to seal the win for England, who will now face Spain in the final on Sunday.

The Netherlands took the lead inside seven minutes when Cody Gakpo scored a superb strike from outside the box. England leveled from the spot through Harry Kane in the 23rd minute, but the Netherlands continued to press and created a number of chances to take the lead again.

However, England held on and Watkins' late winner means they will now face Spain in the final. It will be a repeat of the 2023 Nations League final, which England won 2-1.

Spain reached the final after beating Italy 2-0 in the other semi-final. The match was goalless at half-time, but Spain took the lead through Ansu Fati in the 56th minute. Alvaro Morata added a second goal in the 80th minute to seal the win for Spain.

The Euro 2024 final will be played at Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday, July 14.
